Compare Unmute

Other apps give your agents a window. Unmute lets you talk to them from wherever you are.

Every other interface is a window you go to. Unmute comes to you.

Terminals, desktop apps and agent managers all live in their own window. To start a session or answer one, you leave what you’re doing. Unmute sits on top of your whole Mac instead.

The usual way Terminal, desktop app or manager

  1. Leave the app you’re in
  2. Open the terminal or the agent app
  3. Find the right session, or start one
  4. Type out the whole request
  5. Come back later to check if it’s done

5 steps · 2 app switches · you check on it

With Unmute Anywhere on your Mac

  1. Tap right ⌥ where you are
  2. Say what you want
  3. Keep working
  4. It opens in the notch when it’s done or needs you

Unmute doesn’t replace these apps. It’s a different way in: your sessions are still Claude Code and Codex. “–” means we couldn’t find it on the product’s own site.
